Traditional media outlets in both in print and the web complement each other. Its not about online news technology, as always it’s about the quality of the end product. The key is to look at what distinguishes your news organization from the others. Look at the skills of your writers. How are they different from others?
The biggest issue facing news organizations is finding ways to market their product as well as finding new ways to deliver content to consumers. The question is how are you to get the message out and into the right hands. Its often best just to experiment to find out what is best for your news organization – and not limit yourself but try multiple ways of implementing ideas.
The goal is to put news in a format that people want to receive it in. Once you find something that works you will change how people will consume your content. And this will separate you from the rest of the field and you will lead the way in traditional news and web based news.
