Stress Free

When it comes to a hot tub for sale, most people look first at the hot tub prices.  It is one of the things that drives whether or not someone will buy a hot tub spa.  A hot tub spa brings the feeling of relaxation home to the owner and can help to complete a backyard or other similar location.  Depending upon where you want to put the hot tub it can add ambience to the backyard as an oasis of relaxation and rest.  People get hot tubs for different reasons of course, but helping people to relax is one of the top reasons for getting a hot tub.

In today’s world, where there are a lot of stressed out people, getting things for the home such as a hot tub to help you relax is a great thing to have.  Making sure that it is easily accessible and well taken care of will add to the whole feeling of the oasis you are building in your backyard. A backyard often has a feeling of relaxation for adults or children, and the hot tub will of course add to the whole feeling of a nice backyard for all.

Another thing you should know is that once you install one (and a county inspector is supposed to come check out your hook-up, by the way) you will also need a self-closing gate for child safety. You don’t need one just around the spa, but they will insist that the one for your backyard will self-close and latch.

Spas gross me out just a little bit. Well, my own wouldn’t because I’d be sure to keep it clean, but I’ve seen reports of the jets in your tub growing things. Especially the ones in your bathroom that just sit there for days and days without being used.

I know what you mean. We were on a Carnival Cruise that had a hot tub, of course, but by the second day we wouldn’t get in it. It was totally beige and foamy. I realize that alot of that is caused by sunscreens and lotions on the public, but it’s also body oils…and body other stuff, too, I’m guessing.

Even when only your own family uses one you have to be diligent–actually militant–about the levels of ph, etc. My son broke out, and the doctor said they were “spa bumps.” His sensitive skin (he’s a freckly whitey)just overreacted to a certain chemical whereas most people’s skin wouldn’t have reacted to the slight imbalance at all.

Wow. That’s good to know. I actually let my boys hop in there and sort of treat it like a bath once in awhile in the summer. I know you need to shower after public pools, etc., but I thought our own private spa was okay to just get out and go.

Well, no matter what, a hot tub is a great thing to have. It’s not hard to take care of, and it is just heaven. Even if you don’t landscape all around it and it’s just free-standing on a cement slab, I can’t put into words the wonderful feeling it is to be able to use one regularly.

Depending on whether you want it as a party tub, for your own private use, as a landscape feature or whatever will determine what style and price range you look for. I would just strongly recommend that you try out the seats before you buy. Those vary a lot!
