The Three E’s of Buying Office Furniture
By netGossip on Feb 18, 2008 in Shopping
There are many different decisions that you need to make when you are purchasing office furniture. However, there are three different things that many people fail to consider which should be reviewed before making a purchase. These things can be summed up by remembering the letter E.
Here are the three E’s to keep in mind when purchasing office furniture:
- Efficient. The most important thing is that the items you buy are efficient. They need to make it easier for you to be more productive in doing work around your office.
- Ergonomic. This isn’t a home entertainment center that you’re buying; it’s furniture. It needs to be designed to suit your body so that you don’t compromise your health when using it.
- Eco-friendly. It’s important to be kind to the earth. It’s also good for marketing your business. Look at environmentally kind materials when you shop for your office.
There will be smaller decisions that you’ll make when you do your buying. But things like whether or not you need a chair mat aren’t as important as making sure that you’ve covered these 3 basic "E’s". The littler decisions and the decisions related to style can be made after you make sure that you’ve taken care of the big things.
