I love to ski, fish and just be outdoors. Me and my friends are heading up for a Lake Louise vacation in a few weeks. I am hoping to get into the area just in time for some great snowboarding or I’ll take what I get. It may be spring before we get there, but there is definitely going to be a trip in the works. I do have some questions and I have not yet planned out my stay or how I will get into the city. We are coming from Wisconsin, so the weather is not too different. But, I am wondering the best way to get into the area. Does anyone have any information that could help me?

For example, I am really thinking about the Canada train vacations I keep hearing about. They should be a fantastic way to spend the time I have traveling since I hate to drive. Plus, the train itself is going to be pretty interesting. I also hear about options via rail train tour into the area from a variety of other destinations. The entire region looks good so I am hoping for some advice on where the best place to stay is, what to do when we get there and what to expect on a train traveling in.
